Just found this neat photo of the Lotus stand at the Chicago Auto Show taken in 1987, sadly (for me anyways)last year the Giugiaro Turbo Esprit was sold.
I dont think they even bothered to do that show this year.

According to a couple of reports, DRB Hicom owners of Proton may have (gasp)actually given Bahar the sack.
No news from the man himself yet though ,Lotus spokesman says he is currently on "leave" (maybe he was asked to leave?), although I suspect he will not be at fault at all in his version of events when the Turkish U boat commander eventually... [Read More]

In case you dont know, Tony Rudd became Director of Engineering at Group Lotus in 1969 , essentually laying down the foundation that made that part of Lotus what it is today (or was up to a couple of years ago anyways)
He retired from Lotus in 1989 not long after completing the Corvette ZR1/LT5 engine project for GM, and operated as an Independent Engineering consultant... [Read More]
