Welcome to the forum. You aren't trying to sell insurance are you? (Because insurance for an Elise shouldn't be too hard to get.) Just checking, we get some spammers along the way.

Brian, thanks for the chat yesterday. I was able to secure insurance (nationwide). No problems. My IP address is CA because I am a recent transplant to NC. Looking forward to hooking up with the group here. Loving the car. I keep finding reasons to run to the store:thumbup

Eric, welcome again. Sorry about thinking you may have been a potential spammer. Unfortunately that is a common way that spammers start a thread.
When you get a chance, feel free to post up a picture of your Elise. I'm sure we all would love to see it!

Car looks good! Are those factory wheels painted black, I can't tell. I don't know if you wanted it to show up in the post? If so, it unfortunately did not show up.
But here is how:
click the link that you see in your post, you will see an "IMG Code for Forums and bulletin boards. Just copy it and paste it into the text section. It should show up like this.

Thanks for getitng that picture up for me. The wheels are brand new off an 08exige. Apparently, the car was traded in for an exige and the customer did not want the black wheels. Good for me, lighter and I wanted black.
