Nice to see they peeled half of the Dynoc off it to show the clay surface.
You can also see that silver was the colour they saw it in from the start (like Giugiaro saw the original Esprit)
Hopefully it will be appearing at next years Toronto Motor Show.:)

Something I will never understand. I have never liked silver cars with very very few exceptions (Sport 350 and even then I'd have gone with something esle). Silver hides a lot of the curve, does not stand out even when it is something as fine as an Esprit or Evora, and frankly looks like a cop car trying to hide in the masses. Make it pop! Remember the the day glow Yellow Elise... not my favorite but sooooo much better than silver. I just think silver is in the top 5 most boring colors for almst any car. The clay color actually looks much better than the silver and might make a good color toned out a bit with a clear coat.

BTW... bumped EDIT above... I do not think I altered anything.... no coffee yet...

Silver looks great on some cars and blah on others.
The Germans pretty much own it though, and I think most of its use on other makes is to send a subliminal "Its got German Quality" message.
It does look good on the Evora though, its sharply creased fender tops and waistline are highlighted by it .
Would like to see it in other metallic and pearl colours too (as Im sure it will be eventually produced in)
Have Lotus upgraded their paint line process yet?

Of course - I'd like the Evora in white... but I think BRG with tan interior would look nice. A true burgundy with tan would look quite nice as well. This car has elegant lines and so should have a color that shows it off a bit IMO. BUT! someone should do a BRG with yellow wheels and green leather with gold piping just for the hell of it!

Ill have my car painted Badger arse please  Thats truly funny.
Ive had red, dark blue, black, green, silver cars and they all look pretty stunning all presented at their best.
As a rule I never wanted to purchase a silver coloured Esprit as I thought the colour never does the shape any justice and looks some what bland. How wrong I was though. Silver just glows in the sun and picks up all the colours in the sky, truly amazing. More exaggerated is the titanium colour, under the right light a car can appear to look gold or bronze, quite sensational. So I can understand why Lotus launched the Evora in Silver, I bet under the bright coloured lights on the stand it glows like a true star that it is.
This was the only thing that used to disappoint me with owning a black Esprit, sure it looks mint when it has a mirror shine, but taking decent pics of the car showing off its best lines is really difficult.
