To far for me...
I am glad Mr. Barber is giving this level of event a go - it will take some more time to be sure... but it is hard for me to get to Cali, and I never really cared for the place anyway - outside of Laguna or Pebble Beach car events...

An old thread, but just spotted this vid. Some great action and fantastic cars. Would love to go some day.

You would have thought you had died and gone to heaven at the Can Am Reunion at Elkhart lake back in 1995 ish, over 50 cars raced that weekend.
If I were you I would go out and buy something with a (big)V8 engine to satisfy your craving for the rumble.
Thats why the dinosaurs had to die for me.

One of my Mates has just bought this, so I should get to hear a V8 now :).

man. what a great video. everytim I see that Shadow Can AM car it reminds me of Peter Bryant who designed those Shadow cars.
Peter was a good guy and visited L Buzz often.. he died about a year ago.

Looks like a 1970 Sportsroof Mustang painted to look like a Boss 302.

He knows it's not a Boss but he's getting it for £10k, which isn't bad. Prices over here for Mustangs have rocketed.

Mustang prices are up all over .
Thats not bad though, 10k GBP.
He can take off that chrome trim around the arches and sills, find a front spoiler, replace those chrome modular rims with some Magnum 500's or Minilites and fool everyone into thinking he paid 40k for the real thing.
Whats it got under the hood a 302 or a 351?
Manual or auto?

It's manual and a 302 and the engine bay looks great.

I'm very jealous. The graphics on the bonnet isn't right to, but to the average Joe it's a Boss 302.

Yes I had noticed the hood black out was from a 1969 and the sidestripes from a 1970, but I kinda liked it that way.
The original boss sidestripes were made out of 3M Scotchlite material that reflects light in the dark.
They only use that stuff these days on emergency vehicles and cop cars .
