The start on the Excel has given up.

Does anyone know the part number of the Motorola starter.

It's for an '89 HC 2..2

Sorry, no. But, why not take it to a shop and get it rebuilt. It is usually cheaper and with warenty it is just a good as any other?

Going to try a place during my lunch tomorrow.

Reading an article in the local rag the one I normally use for electrical work burned down last night.

Puts my problem in perspective.

TecDoc is down at the moment but I will try and put a number to it in the morning. Clockwork :) Sorry I edited it this morning and I should have checked it had worked,anyway it does not appear on TecDoc so if there are any numbers on the old unit I should be able to identify it from them.
