Yesterday I went to Cholmondeley Castle,it`s the first time the event has been run and it attracted a mind boggling array of cars, bikes, boats and helicopters, there were demonstration runs on a large circuit from a diverse selection of bikes and cars from a Napier-Railton(the finest laxative known to man)12 cylinders,3 banks of four,2 litres per pot ,exhausts about 3inch dia and 18 inch long the pops and bangs on lift off made my TVR sound like a drunk with wind, the twin engined Auto Union/Ferrari,Honda 250/6 even a Kurtis just to keep me happy,I shall attempt to show some pics (phone ones)later.Clockwork :)

great pictures. I have never seen the Napier. Love the Alfa tho.

while watching the Russia / Georgia crisis I saw the remains of an olf Alfa 4 door in the news. the Alfa 4 door looks like a early 70's car. it was brown and had been smashed by bomb fall out.

pretty neat seeing an Alfa in Georgia of all places.

Quite a few Alfa's and Fiats in Russia. Fiats are especially easy to locate there...

The 'Fiats' you see in the eastern block countries are actually Ladas and Polski Fiats , which were made after the communist countries bought the defunct tooling for the Fiat 124 from the Italians. They dont use the Fiat engine though, just the horrible home grown units.

Fiats were also made in Spain and called Seat's (pronounced See At).
