Just been cruising all of the obscure Eastern European kit car sites looking for Clockworks mystery car and stumbled across this.

It appears to be a cross between an Excel and a Stevens Esprit (from the front)
From the side it just looks bad.

Seems to be based on some sort of BMW.
I dont know anthing else about it as I cant read Russian.

Nothing to do with the above car, but someone has made a fiberglass kit to disguise an LS1 Chevrolet V8 to look like a Lamborghini V12:crying:

I agree. The front looks ok but once you get around to the side it look disproportionate. it sits a little high too....

If the Soviets had won the cold wall, boy would the world of car design be in trouble.:(

The front looks quite cool. The side looks like it was designed by Steve Wonder.

I am a bit worried about your surfing habits.
The engine is from a BMW 528i or 628i from the eighties. But I think the rest of the car is not.
Has there ever been a replica done of the Esprit?
Most other classics have them. And with the Esprit having existed for about 25% of the total time of the motor car, I expected there would have been at least one.

Yes, I think some folks call it the "S-car" :neenerneener:

Whats the point of replicating a car that already costs about the same as a half assed replica would?:lol:

In Russia, it probably work really well as an "Esprit". If it gets you some ladies there, then who ever is buying it probably won't complain :)
