This guy has fixed all his Esprits percieved design, engineering and handling faults and is offering it for sale.

I have always thought that Top Fuel cars would be rather akward in the curves. Hehehe...

gotta hand it to someone to do all that engineering and design to build a 9 sec. car and care enough to afix an Esprit body to it...

I'm feeling....strangely.....attracted.....to it....

I have to admit though... I am having second thoughts about this Esprit. The more I see it the more I like it... definitely some very creative solutions to front mounting an engine in an Esprit and removing all the technical problems inherent in an Esprit. I assume he hung the body panels over a full tube chassis. It would be my choice for a drag racer if I had money to waste. Its hard to imagine fully converting an Esprit but when you start with a bare tube chassis anything is possible.

This auction is all over the Lotus forums... Everyone seems to have a love/hate reaction to the car...

I can't fault the guy for doing that. He built a dragster and then because he loves the looks of an Esprit, put it's body on it. :cowboy:
