1000kms of pure driving bliss

Hi guys just did around 1000kms or pure driving bliss this weekend without missing beat! I took the Sport down to the mountains to hook up with some friends going tramping at Tongariro National Park. The roads around there are amazing and an opportunity to open up the beast and let it fly. The good thing about the 350 is that you can get up to what ever speed of your choice extremely quickly and haul it in just as fast as well; it’s ridiculous as several times I was giggling out loud like a little kid. The more I drive it the more I am praising it. It so well balanced, the feel through the wheel is telepathic and I got to say Lotus did an amazing job with the seats and driving position – well for my stature anyway. Over long distance, the seats are so comfortable with the alcantera and enough bolster to stop you slipping out on hard cornering. You and the car just become one and it makes you want more.

I am rapidly turning greener and greener,we have more snow forecast,have only been out on slippy roads for an eternity,the photo`s are lovely,like some of the Welsh roads,the scenery and the roads just flow in harmony.Clockwork,green ,but not in a trendy Kermit sort of way.:)

This is some beautiful country, Kylie. Durn...I would not mind seeing those sights out the window of a well-driven and responsive Lotus on a fine (looks like you all are getting into fall) day...
