Hi and welcome to the forum.
I apologize that I don't understand you better, but I assume you are asking what car was Colin Chapman's personal car?
He had many cars that have been touched on here through out the site. If memory serves me correct he had a Ford Galaxy and he was a big fan of the Lotus Eclat/Excel too among others.

Colin Chapman owned alot of cars over the years, starting out with the Austin 7(as most British men did after WW2) One formed the basis fotr the Lotus Mk1.

These are the ones I remember reading about:-
Ford Zodiac (with a Raymond Mays conversion), he used to tow the F1 cars with it.
The Galaxie as Martin mentioned which was a present From Ford USA for winning the Indy 500(the Chapman family still own it)
A silver Mk 1 Cortina with a blue roof (with an Elan TC in it)
A Gold Lotus Cortina Mk 2 (a guy in America now owns it)
A brown Elite.
An Silver Turbo Esprit with power steering and a pollen filter in the cabin (he suffered badly from hay fever as do I)
Mercedes 450 SEL (I think he owned a few of these)
and of course the Bond Bug that present company head Mike Kimberley put on it's roof and got fired over.

I believe the parade was staged to cellebrate Lotus winning the 1978 Formula 1 championship.

This is Colin Chapman with his 1959 Ford Zodiac.
Mr Chapman, his wife and Graham and Bette Hill would travel to the races in it towing a GP car.

Excellent photos Wayne.
...Cowley, again welcome and no worries about the language differences. I think you are doing just fine and if we are confused by anything you post I am sure this group will just ask what you mean.
So Cowley, do you have a Lotus?

WayneB, thank you very much. You are "expert" for Lotus images.
This Esprit with long face is not a beautiful. S1 and S1 are the most beautiful Esprits.
This original LOTUS ESPRIT "prototype" was COLIN CHAPMAN person car too?
http://www.projectm71.com/EspritChapman.jpg
Did you know, why COLIN CHAPMAN had a long version of Mercedes-Benz S- SEL?
WayneB

The original Lotus Esprit showcar designed by Giugiaro was never a personal car of Colin Chapman, it was (is) just a non running showcar built and owned by Ital Design as a design proposal for Lotus.
As for the Mercedes , I guess Colin Chapman liked big comfortable powerfull cars and the Mercedes 450 SEL 6.9 V8 was certainally in that class of vehicle in the 70's/80's(a few F1 drivers had them) I read somewheres that he drove his Merc really hard, ripping out the sump (oil pan) a couple of times on the country lanes around the Lotus factory in Norfolk.

Yes, but short version of S class was luxury too. Long version is for people who sit abaft.
Hmm, I was feel that somebody who like a big comfort and ride in a luxury limusine didnīt ride a high speed. Projet Circa, 4 door sedan or ETNA, luxury sport car maybe was ideal car fo COLIN CHAPMAN.
