The press release states:
"Making use of the same technology employed in noise canceling headphones, Lotus’... (Snip)..."

To me that sounds like the writer is saying Lotus has picked up on existing technology to design an application for cars. That's not accurate. Lotus pioneered Active Noise Control back in the 1980's and had working examples installed in Lotus models as test/demonstration models.
