K series engines

Hi all,

Could anyone advise if the K series engine suffers from head gasket problems in the Seven as it does in the Elise and Rover models that it comes from?

IIRC one of the MGF sites has a lot of info on the problem and how to sort it. Plastic locations pins for the head gasket was one of the things that needed changing.

Not as bad nowadays,gaskets have had at least four re-designs that I`m aware of,and seem to have solved the problem,would not let it put me off,just keep an eye on levels and check expansion bottle for gunge (technical term).Clockwork :)
