I hear Lotus are dispatching a crack team of technicians equipped with this special tool as we speak to correct the fault.

That's a quality tool with a great name. :D

Shame about the improper assembly but what a quality resolution by Lotus and Tesla.... Love to see Chrysler or Ford come out to my house to tighten a few bolts. hahaha :gunsmilie:

Reminds me of the story of the fellow who had his brand new Rolls Royce break down whilst on a trip to France.

He calls up the factory to tell them what had happend and has it towed to the local garage and books into an hotel.

The next morning the car is sitting in the hotel car park, so he goes out and starts it up and it runs perfectly.:001_unsure:

He calls up the factory to thank them for the prompt service only to be told that it was nothing to do with us as "Rolls Royces never break down sir"

Dear oh dear, and not good timing, just as the Evora is launched. Come on Lotus, you're supposed to be past all of this.

As for Rolls Royce's "failing to proceed", we recently had one do that on the Sydney Harbour Bridge during the morning peak hour.

The radio traffic reporter implored drivers not to become agitated because RR had entered full alert mode with a mechanic boarding a plane at Heathrow at that very moment. :steeringwheel:
