So we are talking Seven rear fenders and the fact my little accident ripped out a few "Rivnuts". Apart from the fact I'm having trouble finding a supply of said nuts I'm afraid the aluminum is just a little too stretched to hold new Rivnuts.

My plan is to use regular nuts and large washers. I can get a wrench to all but one of the nuts and it's the front one. It sits right by the passenger seat belt anchor. What I want to know before I remove it, does the bolt holding the seat belt anchor thread into the tubular chassis or into a loose nut?

Its been nearly 10 years since I restored an S2 Seven chassis, but as I can remember the tube that the bolt for the seatbelts was not threaded, the nut holds the bolt and seatbelt in the chassis tube.

Thanks Wayne but I just took a chance and unbolted it and the tube looks like it has a threaded bushing welded in.
I was scared that as I took the bolt out I'd here a noise as the nut fell into an aluminum and chassis tube abyss.
As it turned out I did not need to remove the safety belt bolt, I was able to drill and put a bolt right through to secure the bottom of the fender.
