Found this illustration on the weekend which is supposed to be what the new Esprit will look like.

It looks more like an Evora on steroids to me, possibly the rumoured supercharged version?

Just a photoshopped Evora as far as I can tell.

errr its definately there Greg!:001_unsure:

That illustration was not an official Lotus one, just another Car websites conjecture as to what the Esprit may look like.

They did do a great job of hairying up the Evoras shape.

I guess the Evora like looks arise over the fact that Lotus announced the new "Esprit" would share quite an amount of the Evoras VVA platform.

From what I have surmised the Esprit's glasshouse will look nothing like the Evora's.

I swear! I couldn't see the picture.... must be losing my mind!

Agree the new Esprit will probably have a modular type chassis like the Evora but I bet that will be the only thing similar.

The rendering is pretty nice though.

Not a bad piccy, but doubt it would be the new Esprit. Agree just another mock up to keep people on their toes

I kinda liked that rendoring of an possible Esprit/ Super Evora.

It looks mean and predatory like a Mako Shark Corvette:yes:

I do like that rendering but as others have said for them to just stylize the Evora ever so slightly and call it the design direction for the new Esprit is absurd. Maybe they do not understand the VVA chassis and that does not include its looks or an exact duplicate of another car.
