What an event , with some oddball cars!

The weird pickup is based on a 1950 Nash Rambler (possibly an estate wagon)?

The Gold car is a Reliant Sabre 4 GT

What looks like an Imp is a 1967 Singer Chamois with a small block Chev stuffed into the wrong end.

And I have no idea of the year (or model) of the Wolseley plodmobile (poss 1957)

The pickup? it`s registered as a 1954 2ltr Nash pickup,it was near a lot of Metropolitans and was tiny so thats a winner, the gold car was an Israeli Sabra, commisioned by an Israeli company from Reliant and exported to the USA, a recipe for ---- so right in principle. The Singer you were spot on,6.3 ltr small block, running 10.3 sec std.1/4 on road tyres and yes it drives there and back.So here`s the back of the pickup and the badly neglected white car that was parked next to me http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040101.jpg http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040119.jpg http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040118.jpg http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040114.jpg

Nice pics :). I love the Eclat, nice clean lines and very exotic. Reminds me strangely of the Bitter SC (another great car). I wish more people would restore Eclats, they're very under-rated.

Yes people tell me all the time Elites and Eclats aren't worth restoring, but seeing that one makes me glad some guys have the nuts to do it anyways.:)

The poor sod was put next to mine at the back of the club stand and was by far and away the most admired car one the Lotus display,I don`t always display the most interest in that time frame of Lotus but the car was so 100 point perfect that you had to take your hat off to the guy, this was just up the field http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040112.jpg It was also restored to the same standard. Don`t know if you get these over there but they are a useable thing, http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040116.jpg and a little bit of Canada over here http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t347/clockwork012/P1040105.jpg :)

One our group in Mobile drives a Noble M400. There are few little oddly attached items here and there, but over all I give it thumbs up. that MC12 looks to be quite nice. I know Rick's M400 will go like the wind. It came here in 3 parts from South Africa and was assembled by some pros up the road. Always gets a bit of attention at the cruise inns.

Lee Noble has had some mixed success with his cars, his business brain may be suspect but his eye for form is usually to my liking as well Cameron, there was another one parked next to it but by the time I had lit the powder he was long gone.:)
