this months Road & Track is fantastic... Peter did a great write up on his drive to LOG in a series 2 Elan +2 .. it is a terrific write up... He mentions the LOG guests of honor Murry, Bundy & Pilgrim.

this edition of R & T has to be my favorite of all time.. it mentions LOG , has a great write up about Aston Matin but my favorite is the write up with photos of the Porsche 917..... all of the various models of the 917..

it also has a nice write up on the 959...

this will make for some great pool side reading..

I will def. go a pick a copy up! Thanks for the info. the 917 is prob. my all time favorite road racer... and it would be wrong not have the LOG write up in my collection of automotive mags!

Obviously a man of great taste going in a +2, now burst my bubble and tell me he wished he`d got the Greyhound.:)

I met a guy at Road Atlanta a few years back that drove his Caterham... from Road Atlanta to San Diego via Colorodo! He bought it in Atlanta and drove it home.

That's what I call a purist.

Peter Egan's write up about his trip to LOG had more LOG info than Burt Lebvy's actual LOG write up which was mostly about himself. well, the last line in his write up mentioned LOG, the rest was about himself.

soo typical.

he does a write up about LOG and only talks about himself... typical.

Cameron,.

Doc told me that you were at the track and officials approached you about that.. he thought that was cool. nice you talk with him.

Well, Doc is a great guy! It was really interesting to have Grand Am folks coming up to me like that. It got to the point my wife was laughing about it. I could not go anyplace in the paddock without somebody talking to me about Lotus in some form or other with that shirt on... hmmm... In retrospect, I prob should have spent some time over by the Pirelli girls?
