hard to believe it but the Petit Lemans is NEXT month...

anyone going ?

Can't. I used up my "event stash" at Indy testing at Barber, LOG, and the Porsche 250 this year. I'd like to go to the historics, but I prob. will not make that either. I am afraid my next event will be Indy at Barber Motorsports Park in April. Barber is just so easy to get to and far less money for me.

I should be able to make it, and I think I will be having family tag along too.
The house will be more like a hotel on that weekend!

I looked into doing a parking corral with the Viper Club but they're not attending the Petit leMans this year. Instead I think I'll have those interested caravan to Road Atlanta and we can all park together in one of the infield parking lots.

its just gonna be nice to sit and watch a long race.. cheer on our club members as they race the long petit lemans..

I hope we get a good Lotus turn out.

And keep an eye out for any Ginetta/Zytec`s , the later 09 version is out and about now and although it`s a steep learning curve they are getting better.:thumbup:

cool.. Mick will get a good Lotus turn out at the event. he always does.

the Mazda will be fun to watch too but it sure isnt a Kudzu,. the Ford GT will be good to watch as the Porsches always are...

I cant wait.

Ill be there, not sure for how many of the days though. Is there a place in mind for Lotus drivers to meet??

Mike your V 8 looked good as we trecked through Buckhead.. there were some MAJOR potholes that shook my left front.. talk about "bump stop "

Yes that was a bumpy route, would have prefered 400!!
will try to catch up at the petit le mans, dont know if I can
make any of the other get togethers between now and then
keep us posted if there will be a spot at Road Atlanta that lotus
owners are meeting

its nice to have another Esprit owner in this area.. there arent many of us around this area anymore.
