Most of the Evora designed back in 1964?

I reciently found this photo taken of a 1/4 scale model in GM Design back in 1964.

It seems the roof, glasshouse , waistline, rocker panel and tops of front and rear fenders bare a striking resemblence to the Lotus Evora.

This design later became the 1970 Pontiac Firebird, but I was kinda struck as to how similar it looked to the Evora.

I can see similarities ,I can also see corvette,amx and also most of this lot, http://www.oldtimergalerie.ch/images/Autofriedhof/Bilder.htm as a design critic I would not eat well:)
