if you need a re dash installed i have 2 left, i was going to redo a dash we had at the shop and list on ebay, just to cut down on clutter. we have been to busy to start producing them again, its a long process. the vinyl / plastic mix is same used in 1985 1/2 and on porsche. not all dashboards can be repaired. would be best if you can email me pics of your dash
thank you - gene

its make of the same material semi ridgid shell. we do not sugest a home install for dash should be taken out, one of our customers did install with out taking dash out but its realy the wrong aproach. if the dash isnt warped to bad first we have to repair the damage, in some cases all is stripped off, other times only parts, depends on damage. this isnt a cap and not applied with silicone, this will be permently glued as seen in pics it must be applied with clamps and preasure. do to the ridge in the back of dash near windshield we strongly suggest taking dash out. avarage cost of redash and application is 200-250 depends on damage. pics of your dash would be very helpfull

Hi Wayne,

I feel it is relevant and worthwhile to call it out in public. Some guy comes on here hawking his wares and happens to be using a photo of a forum member's car in a dishonest way . . . on most forums, people appreciate BS such as this being aired; the issue and relevance here is the honesty and credibility of someone who is trying to sell goods to other members of this forum.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for being concerned about other fellow forum members wellbeing , but as you are addressing an issue concerning a Porsche 944 wouldnt you be better voicing your complaints on a Porsche forum(or just emailing and pming him as suggested)?
I personally dont like reading posts slagging off other forum members and encourage all members to settle any differences in private.
If you dont like my views and/or the way I'm handling this please contact Martin.
thanks,
Wayne:)
