The action was very close considering the cost and difficulty of replacing the equipment.

Yes Andy, the term boneshaker`s must have them in mind :yes: That particular Viper was sold not that long ago,the asking price was £60,000 so not a bumper car as you rightly pointed out,the big Bentley`s don`t hang about but in a five lap handicap race against more modern Gp cars given a 25 second start it came second ! Wayne tell your friend not to be an organ donor as I`m sure they did not wait till this guy had finished using his brain.:lol:

Even stranger Brian,Hispano-Suiza licensed the Wright company to build 450 engines in the run up to the 1st world war,during the war they built more than 5000 of them,leading to the engine being known as the "Wright "engine,the engine powering the Vauxhall is one of them.:)
