Hey Gents,
Is anybody planning on heading out to the Bronte Creek event next Sunday?

I'll be there, look for the car on the left.
What are you bringing?

Dont think I can make it.
The Esprit needs its exhaust cam tower re-sealing, the Jag is in the process of being painted and the Mrs.is driving the Range Rover.

That's a shame Wayne, it would be good to put a face to a name.

It was a great day, sun sun and more sun.
Met up with zipbyu, his better half and 3 other Esprits to make the run to Bronte Park, a fun drive.
On the way home I saw an Esprit stopped on the side of the 403, it turned out not to be zipbyu but another Black Esprit with an overheating problem. I stopped but he already had the cavalry called. I was happy to have the Seven to be able to pull back out into traffic.
Here are a few pics, unfortunately too many cars parked too close together with too many lookers for good pics so I threw the 12-22 mm on and took group shots.
Think this was the black croaker

So for the really observant that noticed the 2009 foreigner, it was there to prove that after all these years the Esprit is still one of the best looking Super Cars:D

I have saw that particular Elite a couple of times at Ancaster, its a lovely car.

It has a tartan applique inside the NACA duct on the bonnet which is quite an ususual touch, probably as an homage to Jim Clark.

Never spoke to the owner though.

You are correct, the owner is a Scot and If I got the story correct the original owner of my car.
