Historic Team Lotus presents a collection of every Lotus F1 car at this year's Classic Team Lotus Festival on Sunday 20 June at Snetterton. That's something like 35 cars from 37 years involvement in F1.

I received the most amazing and unexpected Christmas gift in the post today. It was a small parcel from Martin Waide. Inside was a very nice softbound coffee table book titled, The Classic Team Lotus Festival Album. It documents the weekend of 20-21 June 2010 when Classic Team Lotus was able to host it's family reunion with one of each of all 35 Lotus F1 cars. Also included was a very nice DVD to provide a video record of the event.
Immediately upon opening the book I was struck speechless at the memory of the event and my great fortune to have been able to attend as Martin's guest. Much to my amazement, as I thumbed through the book I was astounded to find many of the pictures looked much like some of those that I had taken. But when I came to a page with a picture of Hazel covering her ears as the car next to her was started I realized that they were indeed my own pictures. It turns out that Martin was so appreciative of my pictures that he had forwarded them to Clive and company as he thought that they might appreciate them.
What an incredible holiday gift for me.

You certainally have a great rapport with Mrs.Chapman Ron , I'm not at all surprised that they chose to use some of your great photos of her and the cars.
I'm also very gratefull that you have taken the time to post the photos up on here for the benefit of your fellow Lotus enthusiasts.
