Posting pictures can be done in one of two ways.

#1: From your hard drive:
Scroll down to the button beneath the text box that says "Manage Attachments" and click on it. A window will pop up, click the "browse" button and this will let you search your PC for the picture you want to attach. This will appear in your post as a thumbnail that you will have to click to see in full size. *Note, you are limited by 600X600 pixels for these.

#2: From your hard drive through link from another site:
The picture that you would like to attach must be somewhere on the internet. If it is a picture that is on your hard drive you must first make it available on the internet. This can be done by getting an account with a photo hosting website. Example would be: www.photobucket.com you will probably have to start an account with them, but that is how it is done. Once you have put your picture on the internet it will have a URL. You can find this by right clicking the picture and selecting "properties" at the bottom of the window that pops up. I will possibly look something like this:
http://www.tafelracing.com/images/stories/71%20tafel%20ferrari-scaled.jpg
Now, on the lotus buzz website where you are posting your comment or thread, scroll down to the button beneath the text box (just like #1) that says "Manage Attachments" and click on it. The window will pop up and in the second blank box which is headed with "Upload File From a URL" enter the URL of the picture. (easily done by copying and pasting it into the box). Then click "Upload". Now the picture will be displayed in full size in the post.

This is the best way I can describe this. If you get lost somewhere in the process please send me a PM.

Thanks,

Martin

Heres how I do it.

Find the photo on the internet you want to copy, and

With the curser on it :-

Right click mouse (box opens, Left click on properties)

Properties box opens, Left click on address URL (untill it is blue highlighted)

Right click (opening smaller box., left click on copy)

Left click on properties box "X' closing the box.

Return to Lotus Buzz, and left click on post reply or edit (If you have already typed some copy and posted it)

Position the curser where you want the image to appear in the post, and left click.

Then go to the small yellow box with the picture of the sun and mountain on it and left click on it, opening a box.

use your backspace key to erase the http:// letters, then right click your mouse , and a box will appear and left click on paste.

Then left click on OK

And finally , Left click on save and post.

I know it sounds difficult and I had to go at it for a while before I mastered it, but now I can do it in seconds(and believe me I ain't no computer genius)

You might want to print off these instructions and read them as you try it.

Don't be worried about making a mistake on the forum, thats what moderators were created to fix!

As Martin said, you have to first post your own pics on the internet, via Photobucket , Piczo or even show off your car etc., I wont go into that as the sites are pretty easy to use.

Thanks for the feedback -- glad you like the new system. To embed a photo you have to have the image already hosted on some web server somewhere, then you just use the "IMG" button when you create your posting and insert the web address of the image file.
