In reading notes from the Frankfurt Motor Show Lotus was conspicious by their absence. According to the October issue of Autoweek it was due to two very good reasons. First the company is focused on its all new car codnamed "Project Eagle".
The second reason they were not there is more emotional. It seems that in 1999 show organizers put Lotus in a peripheral hall a half mile from the main venue. Company officials have neither forgotten nor forgiven. Man but they hold a grudge! That was last millennium...
Now more about "Project Eagle". Anyone have anything on it???
