I love seeing cars on the edge of adhesion.....or past it.

This was my last Esprit (a 93) after getting loose...only problem was that there was a curb and light post at the end of the journey.

When you lose control in an Esprit regaining control can be difficult. I fishtailed, corrected, and then spun 180 degrees. If anyone needs parts go to www.lotusrecycling.com you'll see my car there. I had just finished powder coating the engine too.

I don't know if there was supposed to be a picture in there or not, but either way, sorry to hear about the accident :(

I have spun in my Lotus too, but I'll mention more about that really soon. I just happened to be lucky more or less.

Nice pic of the 48 Andy, it looks like it was taken at the old Nurburgring.

Heres Ronnie Peterson trying to figure out the 1974 JPS Mk.1 (Lotus 76):steeringwheel:

Amazing! I can't imagine what kind of reflexes it takes to keep that thing straight after a moment like that.

I think this (http://issue.imotormag.co.uk/1J49350cda590d6823.cde/page/20) has been posted before, emphasis on the "Drift" video. :steeringwheel: The interview with Mr. Becker is also good.
