Just click on the Lotus button and you will see some tragic neglect. :crying:

It is well worth while to see some of the other ones too.

:crying: such great cars... such stupid people...
#18 under Ferrari looks the saddest. I actually looks like one of kittens or puppies that sit in the pound and look up happy then without hope sad when the realize they are not going to get home with whoever is there.... :crying::crying:

Over the years I have found and bought quite a few cars in neglected condition like those.

The point is alot of those fellows do love there cars ,but circumstances have prevailed and due to job losses and additions to familys (kids) they no longer have the funds to look after them as they once did.

They hang on to them in the hope that one day they will have the money to restore them to there former glory.

Of course some guys are as crazy as a sh*thouse rat and ammass knackered old sportscars just to say they have one (even though its in horrible condition), These are the ones who will never sell (or ask insane money for the cars) and seem to delight in the never ending stream off passer by car enthusiasts who are compelled to try and buy the car to save it from further neglect.

Good point regard those people that fall into unfortunate situations... I guess it would be hard to part ways with my beauties...

Just checked on the DVLA web site and the Yellow Elise has just had it's road fund licence renewed.

So guess the leaves have been blown off by now.

Three of the TVR ones were taken at the factory ! the White Elephant was a Holden engined test bed that the then owner,Peter Wheeler used to use.PS it is now tucked up and being restored. Clockwork
