Any LotusBuzz members going?
This Sunday is the Lotus Celebration at Brands Hatch. Last year we had an
excellent turnout and lined up 30+ Esprits on "Colin Chapman Way" and this year
we'd like more.
The day will include:
• Opening Round of the 2008 Lotus on Track Elise Trophy
• Lotus cars display & merchandising
• Live performance by Dr Feelgood one of the most exciting live rhythm and
blues acts in the world. They have enjoyed global success with a no.1 album and a string of hit singles including Roxette, Back in the Night, Milk and Alcohol and many more. Thanks to Ashdown Engineering
• 2 separate grids of Elises, Exiges, 340Rs and Lotus 2-Eleven's
• 64 Lotus race cars and drivers competing
• Fantastic historic Lotus parade and display by the Historic Lotus Club
• 2 Elise Trophy races on Sunday 23/3 with a double helping of qualifying
• 2 Elise Trophy races also being held on Bank Holiday Monday 24/3
• Ex-Lotus F1 driver Martin Donnelly racing in the Elise Trophy
• Lotus car parades
• Lotus car club displays
• Lotus Exige GT3 race car demo laps
• Children's goodie bag and competition
• Trade stands
• Elise Simulator
• Delphi British Truck Racing Association Championships
• Pickup Truck racing
• Legends Car championships
• Lotus community soap box challenge
