Brian, I thought my schedule was clear but I just realized I'll be in Columbia SC the 18th through the 21st. I hate when that happens. I'll have to reschedule a trip to Autowerks just to check the place out. Are they usually open on Saturday?

Also, Joe will have the first of 5 X180 R race cars built over at his shop. the car, is a roller that needs to be restored. It is chassis # 1 of 5.

this is the car that was built for for Scott Lagassee, Paul newman back in 91.

the car, needs a complete restoration but is one of the the race cars that was built for the Bridgestone Supercar series that was driven by Murry, Bundy, Paul Newman, Brockman, Lagasee, Pilgrim, and others.

its a neat piece of history.

Joe Grassi is a great guy. give him a call if you ever have questions about your Esprit. he knows these things pretty well. he was awarded Crew chief of the year in 92.

this will be a fun event. I invited the Ferrari guys but they have an event at Road Atlanta that weekend so we may not have many of those guys at Joes shop.

Arnie Johnson and Doc Bundy will be there.

we will possibly have a tv running so we can watch the LBGP with Martins Tafel team and Murry's Ford team running the ALMS event.
