A little too much over the top for me personally (interior wise), not by much but just a little. Looks good on the outside though.

Anyone know of this "World Famous" Esprit?

I have no idea unless "world famouse" is simply a reference to Lotus Esprit in general. However, as it is a bit over the top, it seems to have been breought to this state in good form at first glance. No shoddy work is apparent. In fact, it is just over the top enough and the 'loudness" is distributed evenly to the point that I actually kind of like it.

It's infamous as the 'Mellow Yellow' Esprit, lots of work done!

It is nice, some nice work done to it. Maybe a bit to much yellow for me on the interior though. Would of liked to read some upgrades were done to the tranny as well with all the engine mods.

Seen it before, its a bit max power for me, hes clearly spent a small fortune getting it the way he wants it. A shame to carve up a nice car if its just going to be flogged off. Anyway hope it ends up in a good home and not with pimps wearing gold chains blah blah

Love the way they go to the trouble of masking the number plate.

Then leave it on the last pic.

That's Gordonie's car from California and he has put a ton of $ in the car. He was always a LOG favorite as he usually did an around the country trip of several thousand miles to get there. I sat in this car at the Alabama LOG and the seats were SWEET!...

I would think those are horn buttons. I remember seeing this car with the spots on it.

This was the one with spots? I thought it had a wide body kit on it?

The one with the spots was Johans Extreme Esprit, the one with 700hp (I like it alot better than the Mello Yello car )

The Extreme Esprit used to have its own website which is now vacant.

Thats what I thought. Glad we cleared that up.
What ever happened to the Extreme Esprit? Johan still own it?

I dont honestly know, it was one of those larger than life projects that seemed to be all singing and dancing , fastest esprit in the world etc., but has now seemingly dissapeared. Maybe he finally blew the engine to kingdom come and parked the remains?

Baffling.
