As it has come to my attention. Not all members are comfortable with the ins and outs of posting or inserting pictures etc. Let it be known that I am here to help. If you want to post it along with this thread please do so, otherwise if you want private assistance click on my name and you will find in the page that pops up an option to "Send Martin a private message". I will be happy to help out as much as I can.

The only problem that I have run into is the file size limitation for pictures, which I understand. Most of my jpgs are larger than 97KB and resizing is a PITB (my kids sometimes read over my shoulder therefore forcing the advancement of that last letter by one alphabet space :)) and makes the pictures really too small to see any detail. So, sorry in advance about links to pictures instead of attaching them in posts.

Just use http://photobucket.com/
You just set up a free account upload your images (its a good idea to resize them first or it can take a while) then it will give you the url to copy and paste into your post under the picture in your public gallery.
Its a doddle.
I make an effort in uploading most of my images to photobucket anyway. Its good to have another back up incase the computer calls it quits

RoadDad, using picture links can get a bit confusing. I posted a link below to a previous discussion of the same thing, hope it helps.

Also, I just thought I would add this picture in hopes that a visual helps.
Right click on an image online and you will get the popup window and then copy the text. Like this:

Then when you are posting or replying use the icon with the mountain/sun and click it. A window pops up and paste that text in there, like so:

What I do if im planing on sorting some pics that may take a while to either upload to photobucket get disrupted doing something else or just searching for them, I go to my email in a new window start a new message. Then in another window open and sign into my Photobucket account. Find my image that I have either uploaded just now or get an existing image that I saved there. In photobucket below the image you will see under each :
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code
I always choose the IMG Code. You will see the path next to it, highlight it right click your mousey and copy the link. Go to your new email and paste the link it should look something like this, ive taken some letters out so the image wont show.
The IMG tags at the start and end are key parts and shouldnt be deleted or separated or the image wont show. Once I am finished with the content I am about to submit which is still in email, I highlight all the text copy and paste the lot into my post on the Buzz. You dont need to hit the attachment key or anything like that, just paste it in. Hit the preview post key to be sure then submit reply..
Of course if its just a pic and a quick line or two you want to quickly post up miss out the email step and copy and paste straight from photobucket into here. The reason for using the email is that if the forum page crashes or timed out you may not get the post away if you muck about for too long, so you have that copy to try again. :)
Also note once you move images around in your photobucket i.e move to a folder you have created you will disrupted the file path and that image will no longer appear in your post. So a good idea is to file the image for good their folders then post its link from there.
God I can rattle on

For starting a new thread, here is what you do.
When you are on the home page, click the forums button on the left. Here:
http://www.internetcp.com/gallery/data/500/medium/home.JPG
That opens the forums page. Select which ever forum is appropriate for your topic, in this example I am choosing the "Lotus Buzz Grandstand"
http://www.internetcp.com/gallery/data/500/medium/threadpage.jpg
Then, once you have opened that particular forum, click on the blue tab as indicated in the picture below.
http://www.internetcp.com/gallery/data/500/medium/newThread.jpg
That should bring you to this page below. All you do is put in a title, write your post and then hit the button below.

It's that simple :)
