Lotus Sport Exige 300RR Super GT

Just found this whilst perusing Race Cars .com sales site, looking for ways to waste the money I dont have.:crying:

It is possibly the most expensive Lotus Racing car currently for sale in the world at 290,000 euros($451,500 usd), a Sport Exige 300RR.

Its been used in a Malaysian GT race series (dont know how it did), and is powered by a GM 3.0 V6 (dont know exact origin or type).

Hyperport Engineering here in GA is near completion of their Speed World Challenge Exige.. I dont know if it will look this nice, but at least its a local car with local lotus interest.

Somebody pondered here or elsewhere about how it would look blown up 10% or so. About the size of the Esprit, Gallardo et al. Absolutely great I reckon.

good point.. wouldnt it be similar to that GT 1 car that they ran at Sebring a few years ago that lasted 2 laps ? it couldnt handle the bumpy track .
