Hi Everyone,
I've arrived in Guildford, England where my work takes me to the University of Surrey for the rest of the month. Saw an Elise yesterday and with all the other small cars around it the Elise look long and sleek compared to seeing one in Mississippi where its small next to pickup trucks. Also, saw and R8!
I will be here thru LOG28 so I will unfortunately miss the party this year.
Hope to see more Lotus' and meet their owners too.

I'm going over to Britain in October, too late to see the Ethos unveiled at the Motorshow, so you make sure you go Louis:yes:

Went to London yesterday and what an multi-cultural experience!
The car show starts on the 23rd and I leave on the 26th so I will do my best to get back to London.
Its amazing but in my training class was an Elise owner so we've been having daily Lotus conversations that I've truly enjoyed. Apparently an Esprit is not that common compared to the number of Elise an Exige owners. Anyway, another example of how Lotus brings people together.
Lewis Hamilton mania is in high gear with his British GP win being in all the papers and people wearing Vodavone tee-shirts or McClaren rain coats and umbrellas. This is quite a contrasts to Dale Enhart (sp?) Jr's number 8 NASCAR tee shirts you see in the south.
Its also quite cool if not cold at times compared to the heat and humidity of Mississippi at this time of year. Unfortunately, returning back to Mississippi during the dog-days of August will be an adjustment I'm not looking forward too.
