Well its good to have all members cars on here with regular updates I hope others post up too and a good place to put all my small updates from now on.
I am seriously looking to do the 60th Lotus Celebration run, or just parts of it, the problem is funding :crying:, it wont be cheap blat in the country. The organiser is charging like a wounded bull just to be part of it. But instead of doing all stages I may just do some of the South Island ones to keep the cost down. I am also going to have to ask Simons accountant if we are allowed to run the Lotus on Company gas for a week :001_unsure: Not sure hes going to be very happy about that unless I can have some kind of Jansen sticker on the side of car to prove we are good to go, I dont know. The organiser claims there will be 50+ cars touring be awesome if that was true and something I want to be part of as a proud Lotus owner.
Anyway ill keep you posted on that.

Every little bit helps. This time next year it will be a different car, were in no rush to get it all finished straight away, as its a hobby car for me. Its just the underneath we have to do now, not sure where to start  theres so much to do, one corner at a time I guess. The cars so friggen low to get under, wish we had a proper lift at home im getting real sick of jacking it up all the time.

Those seats... on the west side of Auckland. Simon is usually at the music store mid day or at a trade show and I'm sure you can catch Kylie leaving for work. You will need a wedge jack to break into the garage and a 13mm socked to get those seats out... :sneaky2:  :laugh:

Cameron BAD boy!!!!!!!!!!!!
The seats are the sweetest things since sliced bread. Had two Loti guys sit in it yesterday for an unbiased opinion and the boys were truly amased. They are really really nice. I think the only issue is they arent built for big lard arsed boys, with the high bolsters apparently not good on guys privates getting squashed :crying:
All I know is that you can ask Lotus to make some for you but you may need to supply one of your kidneys as payment as apparently they are mega bucks.
Worth every penny though.

The Sport 350 seats are nice.:)
I rode around with Mike Ring in his Sport 350 for a couple of days and had no complaints from my usually hurting back.
They never fitted them in any of the Sport 350's sold in North America though(probably because they thought the tubbies would moan).:mf_popcorn:

Front wheel wells detailed, wish bones sanded back and most things I could get my hands in there for stripping and repainting with POR15
