Lotus have released the first official pictures of the "Eagle" today.

The styling reminds me of the previously canceled M250.
What do you think?

I find it odd that all these sources are claiming they are "official" images of the car, when Lotus doesnt even have any photos of it on there own website!
Surely Lotus would have sent images to Lotus Buzz in the same method as before (like the Lotus Eco shots)
Adds a bit of credence to the rumour that the photos were unofficialy leaked by a disgruntled insider ahead of time, and the company hastily got a Lotus supporting forum owner to bung up some better photos on the hurry up.
Has kinda taken the wind out of MJK's planned grand unveiling at the London Motor Show nextweek hasnt it?:(
Is the countdown clock still working?
Seems to be!http://www.facelesspeople.com/default.aspx

The picture in the evo.co.uk link in the OP is the same one that Lotus sent to me directly in the press release.

It must look better in the flesh, but have a look at the Korean company Oulin motors new Spirra, much as it pains me it looks a nicer bit of kit and has more go,hopefully it handles like a Tuk-Tuk else we could be in deep doo-doo.Clockwork :)

Sorry, not trying to hi-jack this thread, just pointing out some of the oddball things out there, that Lotus are up against in the small volume market, they only intend to build 300 a year of the Spirra but! it is a lot quicker than the Lotus and with 600bhp it should be!the styling is a bit quirky but to arrive at this point with cars out there(u-tube)they have done very well for a new venture, but no not for me either, four point harnesses give me the heeby-geebies,Clockwork :) NURSE NUUUURSE

Yeah but how much do they want for the spirra?

$100,000,probably more for the twin turbo option.Clockwork
I am really liking this all new Lotus! And the interior is fantastic! I think I will like it even more once I can see one in person, in the flesh. I think others will think it looks better as well in real life.

It's offically called the Lotus Evora. http://www.lotusevora.com/
Watched the Motorshow launch of the Evora at www.facelesspeople.com. (Cheers to Bibs for sorting that). MJK did a good speech and it all went well :).

I am sorry, I was distracted a bit by the "girls" on the left...
Oh, the car looks good to me too! Glad to see it appears to have a real clutch option!
However, to be a plus 2... there is not 1 photo I can find that shows the rear seating at all?
