My dad saw 007 the other day. My dad lives near Sean and my dad was pumping gas in his car and up pulled 007. Sean pumped his own gas in his BMW Z 8 .

Before Sean Connery was Bond he did a few bit parts in British movies, Hell Drivers is one of them and a great laugh!:lol:

Was with some mates in London having a few beers last year (at Sloane Square) and Sean Connery walking past! One of my drunk mates got up and ran after him wanting his autograph. Bit embarrassing.

There seem to be loads of Celebs around there. 3 weeks ago a saw Sigourney Weaver.

I met Pierce Brosnan in the early eighties when I was a kid and on Summer Holidays with my parents in France! They were making an episode of 'Remington Steele' and Pierce gave me his autograph in the book that I was reading: "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" :D


I also got Stephanie Zimbalist's autograph....on a bank receipt ;)

I have never personally met any of the actors that played James Bond, but my a fathers and I's late friend Pat Roach worked with Sean Connery in the last James Bond Movie he did "Never Say Never Again" in 1982.

He was a stuntman (wrestler) and did the scene with Mr.Connery in the heath club (as a coincedence Pat Roach also owned a heath club at the time.) He and my dad were drinking buddies and he sponsored my racing effort for a while.

He also was in the original Indiana Jones movie with Harrison Ford, he played the German who he fought with by the plane.

I remember both scenes well, Wayne. Very impressive guy.

In real life, the painfull deaths would have been undoubtedly suffered by the guys he was fighting, he was built like a brick sh*thouse.:yes:

Even though he worked alot with the high paid and somewhat tempremental Hollywood set, he was very down to earth and friendly, I would often see him covered in oil at his Car Breakers Yard in Winson Green down by the prison. He drove a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow at the time BTW.
